Bloody fangs
and bloody claws
with blood red eyes
and nothing flawed.

A bone chilling hiss
a menacing growl
white flashing fangs
and a blood curling howl

It pounces, it leaps
stealing the souls
of innocent people,
nothing its goal.

In fall there is horror
in spring there is peace
but in summer and winter,
not a sound in the least.


Halloween is their night
they hunt, scar, and kill
smiling at the sight of death
taking in their fill

You can try to run,
you can try to hide,
but they can sense the fear,
that you’re keeping inside.

The gremlins, they’re called
with black fur and beaks
speed through the night
enjoying their feast.

Though small, they have numbers
and crowd up every tree
and though they appear harmless,
they’re as deadly as can be.
